Employer/Payroll Connection
-
I can't find my employer in the dropdown list. What do I do?
If you're unable to find your employer listed, we recommend searching for your employer's payroll provider (ADP, Gusto, Paycor, etc) and logging in with your payroll credentials.
-
Why does my payroll keep disconnecting?
Similar to other bank accounts, after a period of time, the system will log you out and your connection needs to be re-authenticated. This is for security purposes to ensure you are the only person logging in to your account or in the event of a lost or stolen phone, no one is able to access/transfer your funds.
For ADP accounts specifically: The ADP system is forcing account refreshes every 24 hours. Unfortunately, this is not something we have control over. We understand this may be inconvenient, but ADP is requiring re-authentication for security purposes.
-
How do I re-authenticate my payroll connection?
To re-authenticate, log into the GoDo app and tap on Get My Pay. At the bottom of the page, you will see My Wages and a list of your payroll connections. Tap on 'Reconnect to Manage' and then reconnect.
If you still experience issues after attempting to re-authenticate, please reach out to us in the app.
-
How do I connect my payroll?
To make changes to your payroll:
From the app home screen > Get My Pay > Add Employer
From here, follow the instructions to add a new employer. For employers already connected, tap the name found at the bottom of the Get My Pay screen to make changes.
-
Can I connect multiple employers with GoDo?
Yes, you can! The best way to do this is through the direct deposit feature found in the GoDo app. Please have your login credentials ready to go.
Direct Deposits
-
Why do I need to set up a direct deposit?
The direct deposit allocation to your account is the method by which the no-fee advance is repaid, and therefore, a necessary part of allowing GoDo to offer a no-fee advance.
Other companies offering advanced access to earned wages often charge fees on advances or "tips." GoDo does neither, and that is why we are different.
-
When is my direct deposit posted?
Your direct deposit will be posted to your GoDo account on the date on the check. Please refer to your employer's pay schedule to determine your pay out date.
GoDo does not offer early direct deposit at the moment, but it is something we are looking to add in the future.
-
I tried to add my deposit, but it says "Direct deposit switch not supported." What does that mean?
Direct deposit switching is required in order to use GoDo services as that is the method by which the no-fee advance is repaid. Those settings are configured by your employer and would need to be changed by them in order to use our services.
We appreciate you checking us out and, hopefully, we can service you in the future.
-
How do I update my direct deposit?
To make changes to your direct deposit, please see below:
From the app home screen > Get My Pay > Update Deposit.
From here, follow the instructions to update your direct deposit settings.
-
Does GoDo offer 2-day/early deposit?
At this time, GoDo does not offer early direct deposit, but it is something we are looking to add in the future.
Accessing Your Earned Wages
-
How do I access an advance?
GoDo's Earned Wage Access (EWA) feature allows you to get an advance on pay you’ve already earned. To take full advantage of EWA, ensure you’ve linked to your payroll/employer in the app and allocated at least a portion of your direct deposit to your GoDo account.
When you're ready to take an advance, tap on Get My Pay and follow the instructions to complete the action. Once you've successfully accessed your funds, the amount will be reflected on your GoDo account balance.
-
How do I transfer funds in/out of my account?
You may transfer funds by initiating a “push” or “pull” from your external bank account. Note: Some banks may not support this
Push/pull transactions from an external account must be initiated from the external account. For example, if you want to move funds from GoDo to "ABC Bank", you must go to "ABC Bank’s" app or web portal and provide them with your GoDo routing and account numbers, instructing your account to “pull” the funds from your GoDo account. You can do the same for “pushing” funds as well.
You can find your GoDo routing and account numbers in the app. From the home screen:
Go to the Main Menu (three vertical bars in the upper right-hand corner) > My Account
-
How does repayment work?
Advances are repaid automatically every payday via the direct deposit allocation you set up.
-
I forgot to clock in/out. Will my wages still be available?
We use your payroll system to determine available wages. Once your employer's system is updated, our system will sync with it, and the necessary calculations should be performed at that time.
-
Can I advance my commission or tips?
GoDo does not currently support advancing tips or commissions, although these items can be direct deposited into your GoDo card account during your normal payroll cycle.
The GoDo Debit Mastercard®
-
Can I withdraw cash from an ATM?
GoDo is partnered with the MoneyPass® ATM network to provide two (2) no-charge withdrawals from in-network ATMs per month. When making cash withdrawals from an ATM, your PIN is required. Out-of-network ATM withdrawals can be made as well. Please review fee chart for charges that may apply. -
How do I create a PIN or activate my card?
You can set your PIN through the GoDo app by tapping the 3 bars in the upper righthand corner and then tapping on My Card. Please keep it secure and do not share it!
Similarly, you can activate your card from this same screen by tapping on Activate Card and following the prompts.
-
Where can I make purchases with my card?
Purchases and payments can be made with your GoDo card wherever Mastercard® is accepted. -
How do I see my past transaction activity?
All transactions, inclusive of spending, payments, and advances, can be found by tapping on Your Money in the GoDo app.

How do I dispute an unauthorized transaction?
